Meet your Provider

 Amelia Sponseller, NP

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in comprehensive primary care of the entire family. I moved to Maine in 2005 and have been practicing locally since 2008. 

My approach to caring for patients is first and foremost: seek to listen and understand. I will strive to get to know you as a person and learn your unique history, priorities, concerns and health goals. Together, we will explore options to help you attain and maintain wellness.

Our Services

  • Well child exams, school/camp/sports physicals, well adult exams. Routine annual screening lab work is included in membership fees

  • Including management of anxiety, depression, ADHD/ADD, insomnia

  • Including but not limited to diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, COPD, obesity

  • Including but not limited to diagnosis and treatment of upper respiratory infections, flu, Covid-19, sore throats, ear infections, sinus infections, rashes, musculoskeletal injuries, urinary tract infections, abdominal pain, pregnancy tests, preoperative clearance exams

  • Including sexually transmitted disease screening and contraception

  • Including breast exams, pap smears and menopause treatment

  • Including medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, help with problem drinking.

  • Including EKG, ear wax removal, cryotherapy of benign skin lesions (warts, skin tags), skin

    biopsy (pathology costs not included in membership), incision and drainage of abscesses

  • To trusted local specialists when needed, care coordination and post-hospitalization care
